For the first time, Volvo is offering the contemporary V40 with NIL advanced payment, and the multi-award-winning Volvo XC40 with an advanced payment from just £1,899 on the Motability Scheme, which enables disabled people to use all or part of their mobility allowance to lease a new car.
If you are in receipt of the Mobility allowance why not visit us and discover how Volvo’s Motability range can offer worry-free motoring and greater independence.
Each model is easily accessible and has been specially selected to make people’s lives simpler, with cutting-edge safety systems as standard, alongside stylish, practical interiors and a choice of fuel-efficient engines.
Duncan Chapman, Retailer Principal, says: “Many of us take for granted the ease at which we can visit friends and family, go shopping, attend appointments, do the school run or take to the road on holidays. At Ray Chapmans we want to make getting out and about as easy as possible for everyone.
“As such, with one in three people currently eligible for the Motability scheme choosing to join*, we’re keen to ensure that disabled people and their families, friends and carers are aware of the benefits of Volvo’s Motability line-up, to make travelling comfortable, safe and enjoyable for all.
“We are offering great value on the Volvo V40 and Volvo XC40 models and encourage members of the Motability community to visit us to discover how these fantastic cars can keep them moving.”
The Volvo XC40 premium compact SUV offers cool contemporary design inside and out, cutting-edge technologies for on-board entertainment and connectivity, exceptional safety equipment, and a practical, versatile interior.
Meanwhile, built for the city with its clean, contemporary design and smart technology, the Volvo V40 is designed to make life easier. It’s premium-quality interior offers supreme comfort, while its advanced safety technology will keep you and your loved ones safe.
Those receiving either the Higher Rate Mobility Component of Disability Living Allowance (HRMC DLA), Enhanced Rate Mobility Component of Personal Independence Payment (ERMC PIP), War Pensioners' Mobility Supplement (WPMS) or Armed Forces Independence Payment (AFIP) are eligible to join the scheme.
With up to two named drivers included as part of the lease, the recipient of the mobility allowance doesn’t have to be the driver, because friends, family and carers can be chosen to drive the Motability car for the benefit of the recipient. Similarly, parents or carers can also apply on behalf of a child aged three and above.
