At Ray Chapman Motors collecting and delivering your car (if required) is all part of the service and whilst your car is in our care we will wash, leather and vacuum it out free of charge.

Trained to Volvo's high standards to make the most effective use of the latest diagnostic equipment, our technicians are able to pin point problems and identify potential faults without delay.

Our Service departments at Malton and York are headed up by David Kellett, Group Service Manager. David comes with a wealth of motor trade experience having previously held senior positions (General Manager and Aftersales Manager) in various major Motor Trade organisations. He lives in Green Hammerton and is therefore ideally located for our York Dealership. He has specific tasks but will manage the relationship between Ray Chapman Motors and Volvo Car UK’s Service personnel.

On a day to day basis Dan Watson has recently been promoted to Malton Service Team Leader and will oversee the Service department in the absence of David. Dan has worked for Ray Chapman Motors for fifteen years and we are delighted he is progressing within our business.

At York, Norman Hill is a fully qualified Motor Vehicle Technician and has also been promoted to Service Team Leader.
