The protection it gives provides peace of mind by covering key mechanical and electrical components and claims are settled directly with the dealer. The warranty also provides some important additional benefits, such as replacement vehicle hire, overnight hotel expenses, emergency travel expenses, 120 days continental Europe use and consequential damage cover.

Volvo Service Plan + does not cover the cost of coolant changes and brake fluid changes or replacing wear and tear items such as brake pads, discs, bulbs, wiper blades, and tyres.
