RORY QUEEN & NEIL SUTTON PANTO

3rd March 2009

Malton and Norton Musical Society celebrated its 60th anniversary this year and once again the annual pantomime at the Milton Rooms, Malton featured members of the Malton sales team. This year, our "Superstar Dame", the aptly named Rory Queen, was joined by Neil Sutton. The panto' ran for eleven days during January and knowing how much effort is required to make things run smoothly, we are all very proud of the boys at the Dealership.

Rory has enjoyed his role in pantomime since he played the giant in Jack and The Beanstalk in 2001. The last two years have seen him promoted to the Dame. This year he played "Margarita Juicy Lita" and as you can see from the picture, he managed to play the part with very little make-up! Unknown to most folk who enjoyed the performance, Rory was suffering from terrible back ache for the entire weekand his friends and colleagues in the sales team were proud of his commitment to the production.

Neil Sutton joined the Dealership last year and has settled in well. Living locally in Norton and having grown up with the members of Malton sales team, we have found Neil to be professional, friendly and enthusiastic. It was certainly a family affair for Neil at the panto' as his daughter Annie played the Principal Boy, Robinson Crusoe. Both Rory and Neil would like to thank all customers who attended the pantomime this year for their support and occasional heckling but we do ask you to be careful when you visit the Dealership as they still have a number of custard pies to utilise during negotiations.
